Mostly a great stove and I recommend it. I have the Catalytic Combustor, Air Blower, and the Ash bin. I do not use the bin anymore because you have to dig out the brick opening and the bin is not big enough. You have to guess how full it is getting. I did not clean my Catalytic Combustor for 6 years when it plugged. It was fairly simple and makes the biggest difference. The Fan is a must option but is noisy and I put a variable speed switch on it and picked my noise level. Seems without the fan the heat does not reflect out to the room. My ambient temp switch failed on after the second year and I haven’t replaced it yet. I will replace it with a capillary style and insert it in the temp. gauge spot at the top center of the stove. Therefore when it comes on I can close the damper to start using the Catalytic Combustor. One other thing, when adjusting the air intake it has a hair trigger. When loaded with wood and close too much it can put out the flame and chug puffs of smoke into the room. Cracked open slightly can over heat the room. That’s it!
